When you feel like your world is coming down and you feel like you are all alone, remember, Jesus has saved us. You are NOT alone!!! Jesus said that He has come so that, IN HIM, we may have peace. "But take heart! I have overcome the world." Jesus has already won the battle!

Love for Enemies
-Matthew 5:43-44
A basic paraphrased version of this is saying that anyone can return hate for hate, but it takes a child of God to return a blessing and a prayer for his or her enemies (taken from a word for today). I'm sure that I am not the first to say "they are my enemy, why would I pray for them?". The truth is, it's hard to pray for someone you don't particularly like. It is especially hard to be nice to someone and show them love like God has shown us, when they are being mean to you. So instead of hating that person, why not PRAY for that person and in a sense "kill them with KINDNESS".

How are you living your life between Sundays?
"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me- PUT IT INTO PRACTICE. And the God of peace will be with you."
-Philippians 4:8-9
Being a Christian isn't just about sitting in church an hour a week, it's about putting into practice what we learn on Sundays. We need to not only act like a Christian on Sunday mornings, but also in between Sundays.
**Our inspiration for the name of this blog came from the Karen Kingsbury book, Between Sundays. We strongly recommend this book. It's awesome!
